The "Roaring 1920's" is an outstanding year for athletes in the sports world, especially for the Americans. William Tilden became the first US citizen to win the Wimbledon title.Outside of the US, Paris's Olympics were very successful, epecially in running. Sir Gorden Richards was a championship jockey having his best record in 1925. Steve Donogue was victorious.
